I'd like to see more watch repair posts. I rather enjoy sharing information about how things are done. Unfortunately, perhaps without intending to do so, some members have responded to repair and restoration posts in rather condescending and sanctumonious ways which may discourage such posts from being started in the first place. We may wish to work on this.

I agree.. I am attempting to learn how to clean and do very basic repairs to my watches useing videos and various books that I have obtained. I have a great amount of respect for expert watch makers and realize that it takes a life time of learning and even then it could be possible to be stumped (at least temporarily) I read with great interest the replys to repair problems and would like to feel free to ask questions that may seem silly and basic to someone with years of experience.
