The following motions are being considered in the September 2008 Electronic Meeting of the NAWCC Board of Directors:
MOTION: Made by Director Del Greco, seconded by Director Coulson: "Resolved: a preliminary budget for the 2010 national convention (convention to be held in York, PA) is approved, and permission is given to the board chair to sign legal contracts after the latter are reviewed by legal counsel."
The preliminary budget is attached. (Note: Final budget approval is scheduled for December, 2008)

MOTION: Made by Director Del Greco, seconded by Director Coulson: Resolved: As a result of numerous discussions among the executive director, the board chair, and Lu Sadowski (member # 153366 of New York), the latter is appointed via secret ballot to the position of chapter relations committee chair.
MOTION: Made by Director Del Greco, seconded by Director Bryan: Resolved: As a result of numerous discussions among Jerry Thornsberry, the board chair, and Wayne Laning (member # 152527 or York, PA), the latter is appointed via secret ballot to the position of crafts committee chair, replacing Thornsberry who is retiring from that role.
