It won't be long now before we move to the new message board and we need some help checking things out.
The pinned status of threads does not get transferred, so Fred will need to search for the pinned threads and pin them on the new board.
In looking at the thread index threads, I noticed that the older posts that had been imported from Infopop did not have standard UBB codes in the URL references and also seem to have html break tags instead of carriage returns.
I have a plan for fixing that material, but there may be other items that do not import properly to the new software.
The existing links that were created by the current message board should translate properly and there are plans in place to correct references of that kind to internal links in this message board.
Please give the new board an exercise and if you have time search out some of the older important threads and let me know what strange things you see (there will be some for at least the next few days as I track them down).
