:confused:just me again, i got a regula am72/61 movement. ihave taken it all away apart, clean each part by hand,, plates were check no bushings needed. when i put it back together, it will run but when i put on all the snail and hourhand tube it will run about 25 mins, then stops. i think my trouble is with the hourhand tube and gear below it.. when you put the hands on the hour hand it jags, you can see the hourhand goes back a little then i always have to put the hour hand on the hour when it cuckoos it always looks like it cucking the hafe hour on the hour, it cuckoos the hour calls fine but hour hand is always on the hafe,,
its just cuckoo 7 but the hour hand in betwine the 6 and 7,ect... willthe hour hand tube and gear that drives it,will they interchage with ones from a reugla movement? i can't just go and buy a new movement, as black forest imports, have one but its 177.00 plus shipping.
to high for me... any way any help... thanks randy

I think what your saying is when you attach the hr. and min. hands so that the hr. hand is say at 3 and the min hand is at 12, then turn the hands an hr or two the hr hand no longer corresponds with the numeral on the dial but is half way between 2 numerals.
Im not familier with that particular movement, but is the hr. hand on a sqaure and you just cant place it on at an hr when the minute hand is straight up to 12 the you need to advance the hr. wheel a tooth or 2 in the intermediate pinion, or is it not moving at the proper rate as the min hand is advanced.
If when the hands are turned manualy for many hrs and the hr hand will eventualy come back over a numeral but dont corespond with striking (its gaining or loosing hrs.)then you likley already have an improper part in the motion Works=the train of wheels directly connected to the movement of the hr. and min. hands.
Or if when the min. hand is attached snug in its place, and you can pull the hr. pipe forward to the point that the hr. wheel disengauges the intermediate pinion and can advance one tooth, then the pipe is to short or the minute hand is not on far enough.
If when advancing the hands several hrs. and the hr. hand is correct over at least one numeral at one side of the dial consistantly but not on the other side then the di9al is not true to the movement or numerals have been improperly attached.
Check theese things out, move the hands around and around and look for a pattern.
