gosh, I never thought I would be posting here.

on friday night I had a break in in the unit where I live, someone(s) put a pipe wrench on the door and just walked in. I'm ok, (asleep in the other room) just a little shakey this week.

however, some tools have gone missing, also some clock parts, and a couple of watches.

in case some one sees anything, in queensland, Australia, I'll post a list.

first is a french carraige clock mechanism, in parts, with no screws, platform, or case, together in a plastic box.

also an english full plate verge watch, with one gold hand, roman numerals, open face, no Bow, and unsigned. silver case looking very sad.

A Hamilton 910 movement, without the case, no balance, in reasonable condition in a plastic coin bag, with silvered dial.

A box of flat pivot drills, french, with small wooden tubes inside holding drills. the Box is aprox. 70 x 100 x 5mm deep, and made of a light wood.

I yellow box of Bergeon Anti magnetic screw drivers with the red (1.2mm ) one missing, and no cardboard cover.

also lost a silver "trollbeads" bracelet, a nice handbag, a clip on Loupe, and a few other little things.

wonder if anyone sees these items up for sale, maybe they could let me know??

thanks for reading guys..

Emma sorry to hear this happened, i hope police were called.
I dont understand why a thief would just take parts. Why not a complete clock or watch. This person maybe thinks the parts are worth a lot, who knows. I hope who ever it is, gets caught, take care and maybe you need a dog?

That is unfortunate, I would keep an eye on the auction sites, in your country and perhaps in others as well, perhaps they will think they are anonymous that way, and how would anyone know...

I just had a security system installed, and was quite reluctant to do so, do to cost and the annoyance of such gadgets. I even argued that my most valuable objects are my tools, and what burglar would want them? I can see now that it is a real possibility, and that they will steal something, even if they may not know what it is...

My condolences,
Jere
