I know there were paper dials made for and put on dollar watches.
Were there paper dials made for / by the larger watch companies? ie Elgin, Hamilton, Illinois, Waltham.
Were the paper dials a choice when some one bought a watch? Why would people pick paper dials over regular dials?
Does anybody have an original example of a higher grade watch with a paper dial?
Thanks for any information you might want to share.

"I haven't seen paper on a decent watch."
Maybe that's why no one sings "I want a paper dial that I can call my own."

Does anybody else have examples of paper dials?
Cort - do you have any scans or examples of the celluloid dials? (And thanks for looking for the part.)

Check with some of the dial makers & fakers-they will make anything you desire.
