This 10k GF RR watch case was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company and is stamped "cased & timed by the Elgin National Watch Company".
Can anyone tell me what model case this is?
What Elgin movments would be correct for it?
Thanks in advance!
That's late 1930s or early 1940s vintage. Thus the proper watches would be the B.W. Raymond grades No.:
478
494
506
540
544
590

Thanks, Kent. That definately helps to narrow my search.

Now here is a clever man!! He buys a good case then looks for something to put in it. I always do it backwards by buying the movement first and have a heck of a time.:clap:

Not too certain if I'm clever or crazy. Pretty sure I'm the latter
