Hi everyone,I heard alot about usint slick 50 and mobil one on clock mainsprings, etc, being new at pocket watches I have noticed that their are serveral different types of oil and grease to use on them, so it got me to thinking about the slick 50 and the mobil 1, any comeback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Don't even think about it. Watches are very, very small and delicate. It has taken over hundred years to develop good oils and greases for watches. Use them and use them in the right locations in the right amounts.
Good watch oil is expensive, but it does not take much oil for a watch. Elgin made many tens of millions of watches and used less than a half dozen gallons of watch oil over the 90 years they were making watches. This even though they emptied the oil pots each night.
