I know there are hundreds of designs, but I'm hoping one of you might be able to help me out. I've got an older cuckoo in, featuring two pairs (only) of dancers on the top, bottom left is a bugler with red coat and blue pants and on the right (as you look at the clock) is a bench or trough and perhaps a pump where something is broken off. Any idea what the missing part would be? The bugler moves, the missing part does not. Might be an animal, or a water stream --- not sure.
Ideas? The owner would like it restored but does not know what the item was either (inherited clock from grandparents).

That would have been a sot with a stein in one hand, arm hanging limply to his side. In his other hand would have been a meerschaum - aw ferget it. It was all a big lie anyway. 'ow in 'ell should I know.

Pretty sure I have the part that you need, if memory serves the part is a water trough with a pump? and a stream of water coming down from the pump into the trough. I believe the ones I have seen have been yellow. I should have a parts clock like this that I can remove the piece from if interested.

That sounds feasible, and yes I'd love to acquire the part. Please PM me with details! Thanks very much, Doc!
