strange case for waltham 16 size model 1888

Just purchased a strange pocketwatch/case. The case looks like it should be a hunter, however there is a bezel and a place for a crystal. When this first crystal opens, there is another crystal bezel? I will try to get a picture and include it here.

Fred, What you have is either a demi-hunter or a cut hunter.
