Hi

This mark is on a supposedly solid 14K hunters box hinge case. I don't recognize the mark. Could anybody tell me what it is?

Had not seen this mark until I picked up a beautifully engraved multicolor case.

Terry Hall looked it up - it is a 25 yr GF case. Brooklyn Watch Case Co, I believe.

I can post a pic of mine when I get home to make sure, but I know it had the B and the II and the crown. I am unsure about the WARRANTED.

I would not buy as solid gold at this point.

Roy Ehrhardt's Trademarks book shows this mark to be a 25 yr gold filled case made by the Muhr Watch Case Co. See the top left hand corner of p.66. Muhr was sold to Keystone, who may have continued to use this mark.

Thanks to all for your great info! I have another one here, I'm sure it's solid gold, but what is the gold content? This does not look like the Eagle trade mark of Brooklyn WCCo.
It tests for 12-14K on the surface and it flexes and feels like solid gold
