To start off, I have not intention of touching the banking pins on any watch. I am only curious as to what the name of the tool is that the companies used when setting the banking pins.
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Usually just a properly sized screwdriver, but some watches use banking pins that are just solid posts. For this type of banking pin they use tools generally called (oddly enough) "Tools for Banking Pins" (Bergeon #4055). There are also some watches that don't truely have banking pins and the fork banks against parts of the plates. This type isn't adjustable.

If you are learning about repairing watches, at some point you will find the need to adjust the banking pins. It really isn't very complicated or difficult. The most difficult part is deciding how much safety action is needed. Too little and the watch tends to unlock with a slight bump, too much and unlocking requires too much force (decreasing balance amplitude).
