Refinished, yes Jon is absolutely right... understand "butlercreek" that is a metal dial, recently repainted in that odd configuration for about twenty dollars. Look at it under a loupe and you'll be sick. If you want the correct porcelain-enamel dial we all demand on those watches you'll have to go "dial-shopping" and pay $200.00 or more to get a nice one. A watch like that is only a good buy at a bargain price, and that's no bargain!
The case shown in the auction is nice looking, but there are too few views to be certain and the movement was made a good 6 years before the case. In other words a lot about this watch is non-authentic, simply stated it's been "put together" out of this and that. I predict that in the very near future condition and authenticity will become increasingly important. For all those reasons the smart buyer will stay away from this one!

EBay really is wierd. Somebody posted a BOC Hamilton with a crazed dial and missing the bow. It started out at $5 and is over $200. You tell me? How does the line go; a fool and his money... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=964480967

Pretty safe bet it will go quite a bit higher yet Railman.. Anything with the number 2 bar over goes high.

Even when the case is worn? http://www.nawcc.org/ubb/confused.gif
The seller is brutally frank about this watch but it still goes up. Truly amazing.
