WATCH NUTT:

Although I couldn't find anything about your two examples in it, "History of the American Watch Case," Warren H. Niebling, Whitmore Publishing, Philadelphia, PA, 1971 (available on loan by mail to members from the NAWCC Library & Research Center (http://www.nawcc.org/Library/library.htm)) is a pretty source for identifying watch case trade marks. A number of case trade marks are also shown in "Complete Price Guide to Watches, No 24," C. Shugart, T. Engle and R. Gilbert, Cooksey Shugart Publications, Cleveland, TN, 2004 (a new edition comes out each year in February. This book is available at libraries, most major bookstores and online at the NAWCC Gift Shop (http://www.nawcc.org/giftshop/americart/bk_watch.htm)).

Good luck,
Kent

This is a well known case maker who also made standard 18s KW cases for Walthams, Elgins and the like.
