I agree that the Prague city clock is really neat to see. When you go back to Prague, go to the horological exhibition in the National Technical Museum. It is one of the best compact displays of timekeeping I have ever seen. The museum is on the hill overlooking the old part of Prague.

I'm married, so I already know about the instruments of torture. If you are in the old town of Prague and looking up at the Castle, the Museum is to your right. Do you know where the restarurant boats are located (near the Hilton)? It's up the hill directly across from them. You can take one of the streetcars directly there--it's actually out of sight from the river, but all the hotels and guidebooks have directions. If you like motorcycles or airplanes, it is stuffed full of them but the clocks alone are worth a visit. I mention this museum in my article in Bulletin 332.

I was in Pargue last year so have seen the clock exhibit recently. I used to travel international for work but not any more. You can't read the Bulletins on line--you can buy back issues from NAWCC but unless you are interested in time recorders, don't bother with my article since it only mentions a master clock in the Prague Museum and recommends the museum for clock lovers.
