On the inside of a E.N.W.CO case housing a 16-size Veritas:
"JOHN T. LOGAN FROM SCREW DEP'T ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO OCT. 10th 1912"

That guy down in Georgia

A British watch with an inscription that the watch was given to a Japanese official as a souvenir of the successful steam trials of the battleship "Kashima" which was made in England for Japan in 1906. I think the watch was made by Williamson.

Best regards,
Greg

Tried to buy 14k Waltham 16s watch with great inscription - Can't find it now but something like "To my beloved son William, little lamb of Jesus, from me, Papa. May God and the Holy Spirit be with you whereever you go ..." it went on for several sentences and was dated in the early 1900's. I have a son name William and wish now I had paid the $100 premium they were asking for the watch.
