I'm looking for some information on the Sonora Chime Clock. THIS IS NOT THE SETH THOMAS clock but before Seth Thomas bought out this company. What I'm looking for are some pictures of the chime movement. The one I just picked up is missing some levers. This is the clock with the New Haven movement, not the Seth Thomas movement. Thanks

Can you post a pic; is the Sonora chime movement the same one that Seth Thomas used, just in a New Haven case? If yes, perhaps the levers from the ST cases can be used in the New Haven as well.

The Americam Clock & Watch Musemum in Bristol Ct. has a brochure. It may not answer all your questions, but an inquiery to Chris Bailey might get some information.

No, this is not a Seth Thomas clock. Many people do not know but the sonora clock company was bought by Seth Thomas. They made cases and bought movements from New Haven. They made the chime movement.

Mike, I understand the clock is not a Seth Thomas, but is the chime movement the same from ST to New Haven? Are there any others on ebay as a reference? I have seen the New Haven's show up there from time to time. Best of luck, Chris
