Unknown Hallmark

I do not own or have access to hallmark books and the internet has not been any help with identity of a gold hallmark. Is anyone familiar with a horse head hallmark (most likely French). It looks like a Chess castle piece from the upper neck. I would provide a photo but it is very small and only just visible with a 20x.

In 'Old Silver' by Seymour Wyler shows these French hallmarks with horse heads. The list is probably not complete.
