Use the FIND button at the top of this thread to chose an Advanced Search. In doing so, look for the Search Words: TACY in the Forum: Pocket Watches.
You'll get a number of hits which will discuss the TACY Watch Co., one of which is specifically about a old ref::Tacy Watch Co., Admiral, Non-Magnetic Watch.
Good luck,

As may have been pointed out in previous postings, the Tacy Watch Company was listed in 1923-1924 by the Tavannes Watch Company. Tacy watches continued to be imported into the US through 1940 by Adolph Schwob of New York who started importing Tavannes brand watches in the 1920.
The Admiral branding was first shown in 1892 by Schwob Freres and apparently continued until 1940.
Tacy is a brand that is said to be short for Tavannes-Cyma. The watches are reported to be well engineered and popular from 1920-1940.

My Tacy Admiral is a 16S, 15J. I got mine like new in the original movement shipping container from a Jeweler about 20 years ago. Mine keeps excellent time.
