Many thanks for all you help.

Nick,

Welcome to the NAWCC Message Board!

Please do post your pictures. Also, include all printing including serial numbers on the works (movements) of all three, names on the dials, and details marked inside the case backs.

I have at present a Waltham 23 jewel bridge 1899 model pocket watch at my local watchmaker in Urmston Gtr Manchester. This is a high value watch and i trust him implicitely. We have sourced parts from all over the USA and are now in the process of final re- build. I myself service pocket watches but am still a trainee with the BHI and therefore would not work on any watches other than my own but if you want to email me off forum , i would be glad to give you details

For what it's worth, your DOXA looks like some form of early automobile clock, given that it's an 8 day, has the stem at the 6 O'Clock position, and no bow. It would have been mounted on the dashboard, either on the panel, or behind a cut-out and the stem would stick out below the panel.

Looks very similar to Waltham car clocks. Waltham used their car-clock movements for travel and other types of clocks as well, so it's possible it's some other type of clock.
