Hi there, does anyone out there know anything about this Company? I have bought a lovely pocket watch that is signed on the movement by aubert & capt and am trying to find out anything about these makers. The watch is gold and enamel with cylinder movement. I think this Capt may be the same one who later entered into partnership with another Swiss expatriate Nicole to form Nicole & Capt in London. After Capt, Nicole took in Nielsen as a partner and the firm was incredibly successful. It was responsible for a large part of the production of the major London houses such as Dent, Frodsham and others.
