Don't even think about blowing $495 on one of these Swiss Hamiltons. For that kind of money (far less) you can get a pristine original 992 made by the authentic American Hamilton Watch Co. An early 23 jewel Waltham Vanguard with the star regulator would be my choice. You would still have enough left over for a nice chain and also a service (clean, oil, adjust) on the movement. Stick with the antique/vintage originals. They'll never again make 'em like they used to.
