I am presently working on an electric advertising clock. One of the plastic gear is missing several teeth. The owner is adamant that the clock be restored as close to original as possible. Does anyone out there have a working Ingraham electric movement? The markings are as follows:
EA
Pat No 2677776
Ingraham Canada
2W 115V
60 Cycle
Model N
Failing that, is there anyone who can build or repair this plastic gear for me?
Regards,
Doug

Am I to assume that no-one out there in horology land has any idea where I might look for an electric clock motor????

Doug..Are you able to post or email a photo ??

This is hard to identify without a little more information..

Diameter, thickness, is a pinion attached, how many teeth in gear and leaves on the pinion..

Doug; If you email me I will look in my vast array of electric motors and parts. I should have one, but there are so many different ones maybe not.

Doug, I have an old Ingraham school clock with a bad motor, but the movement looks good. It may have the gear you need. It appears to be a 1950's vintage. Let me know if this might help you.

Hi all:

Here are some photos of the gear I need. It measures .64" in diameter, and is mounted on an arbor .474" long. The lower pinion is 8 leaf, while the pinion on the top is 5 leaf. Sure hope someone can help with either a gear or a movement!
