Elgin sold a watch marked Solar Watch Co. Was it made for sale by Eaton?

Tom's correct that Elgin made watches under the "Solar" name - fairly low grade watches (7 jewel, uncompensated brass balance). I *think* these may have been marked "Solar Chicago Ill." on the movement, but I'm not sure (it may have been the Elgin "Sun Dial" - they were pretty similar, and made around the same time period (right around 1900 or thereabouts). Wayne undoubtedly knows more about the Elgin Solars, and if they were distibuted by Eaton.

Here's a link to a 1953 T. Eaton Catalog Page (http://www.midwestcs.com/elgin/scans/non_elgin_ads/1953/m_t_eaton.html) showing the Solar pocket watches they had to offer at that time. Item 41 is a Swiss, 17-jewel watch. Comparing the price to the three above, its sounds similar to johnson76's watch.
