All the Hamilton catalogs and price lists through 1960 that are in the NAWCC Library have been scanned and put on CDs (four). Members can check them out from the NAWCC Library and Research Center.

The library has catalogs and price list through 1971, but I just got bored scanning them and quit at 1960. Anyone who wants to volunteer at the museum can complete the job.

Wow, great work Don!

Does that include all the issues of the Timekeeper?

All that we have. I keep asking if folks could donate scans, but none so far.

The first disk contains Timekeeper for
1911
1914
1919
1921
1923
and 1924.

I can still add others if someone will donate a scan. 200 dpi is what I used.

Don,
I commend you for all your hard work and dedication to this outstanding project which took many hours of volunteer work to accomplish.

I know it will be very useful to all NAWCC members who collect Hamilton watches.

Thanks again,
Robert

Don,

As time permits, I can probably help by donating some additional scans.

Do you have a master list of what is already scanned? Are the CD's limited to actual catalog's or are you including other documents such as "Time Books", Adv. Brochures and booklets such as "The Timekeepers"?

Also, are the scan in JPG or ?.

I started a master list, and posted it on this board during the early part of the project, but got no contributors. So I quit doing that.

I scanned only catalogs and price lists. I did not scan parts or timebooks.

They are jpg assembled into Adobe Acrobat files. Over 1.7 geg of files on four CDs. I left room on the disks, so things could be added if they appear.

If you have something to share, email me at dahlberg@lvc.edu and I shall see if we already have it.

Thanks,

Don

Don -

I had promised you some timebook scans a while back and still intend to do this ... would you mind if I posted these images to this board and you could include these with the other materials in your CD as you see fit?

Fred,

Anything would be appreciated as long as it is in sufficient resolution to read text and study images. It all helps us understand when changes were made in watches or when new models were introduced. When we have all this information together, we can stare and compare and get a good Hamilton timeline.

I have had a chance to view these CD's... Excellent work Don !

I do know this took some effort and TIME...

I know at least one person that is appreciative and the word will spread about your efforts.
