View Full Version : Columbus Dial "Please Help"
Steven:
Although I don't know about dials signed "The Boss", Columbus did supply those log style dials. An example will be shown in the February Bulletin.

Steven,
I know this isn't of much assistance, but at least it lets you know that yours isn't the only one around (and it isn't the first time this subject has "stumped" our experts here -- no pun intended  ):

For what it's worth, like Kent mentioned above, I've always heard these referred to as "log" dials, and I've seen several of them over the years, but they're certainly not common. Not all of them are marked "The Boss" (in fact, I only know of yours, and that one other fellow's that bear that marking). I'm sure it's a "private label" of some sort, but I have no idea for whom it was made.

Actually, I answered several hours ago. Without pictures, I would not verify the authenticity of it. Pictures front and back of the dial and of the mvmt. Thank you
