THere is a nice and thourough treatise on the Kipton Train Wreck on the net by a fellow named Pence James.
It has some inaccuracies but is very well written.
Does anyone know when or where this was first published?
Is Mr Pnce James still around?

Jeff:
I think that the piece is so full of errors and mis-information that it would be a disservice to encourage anyone to read it. I'm glad that you didn't post a link.

LOL.. AS I noted...(in a nice way) there are some inaccuracies. Especially later in the article. The Majority of this piece of "historically oriented fiction" is "BASED" on newspaper reports of the time that I have uncovered.
His embellishment however is a tad worrying. That is why I was wondering if anyone knew him. The article does not say where it came from at all.
I find an author of note named James Pence but nothing on Pence James.
Anyway. Thanks. Jeff Hess
