I have a large ~18 size paired case (silver-english hallmark) fusee watch. The plates have both screws and (pins) holding it and the plain cock together. The keywind movement does not work. One watchmaker said he couldn't get it working because of too much wear. What can anyone tell me about this watch. Graham and 1859 are the only two marks on the movement.

You will need to be able to post a picture to get much information on your watch.

1859 is likely the serial number of the watch. If it is, the watch was made (or sold) by someone named Graham, but not the famous George Graham. George Graham's lowest serial number for a timepiece is around 4,500 and his highest number for a repeater is under 1,000.
