You may have already noticed the search link at the upper right on the message board. If you search for Tobias, you will find 28 threads including this one.
Michael Edidin's name appears in one of them and he is generally considered the authority on Tobias watches. He wrote an article in the NAWCC bulletin a while back that tells how to distinguish the real ones from the fakes.
However, a bar movement and possibly a thin gold dial is a dead give away. That is independent of what might be written on the cuvette.
