You may find it very difficult to get a
real Rolex movement. There are people buying up these movements and cheaper models and sending them to Israel or Taiwan where they are paired with fake cases and sold as real. Another option is to go directly to Rolex, New York by sending your watch in for repair. They will send you an estimate to rebuild the watch, usually with a new movement and all new parts. The price is a lot less than you would think, and it comes guaranteed by Rolex. This option would probably not apply to an early Bubble Back or something that old, but for an Explorer, GMT or Sub, they will have new movts. I've done it and got a
brand new GMT for $1062. Believe me, those watches are pretty trick and an old guy with bad eyes can actually see them. Hope this helps
