Does "Tornado" marked inside a presumably GF 18S hunting case mean anything to anyone? I would guess it to be a "grade" or "model" of a particular manufacturer, but I'm curious as to details like maker, metal content, and circa --. Thanks.

I found the 'Tornado' name listed under the Illinois Watch Case Co. in Roy Ehrhardt's 'Trademarks' book. No year warrentee or gold content information is listed, but the ones I have seen appeared to be of gold filled construction.
