I bid on this elgin watch 1887 sz16 15jewels,
And in the ad it say's it can change from an open face watch to a hunter case watch.It say's it's a three door watch.model.1 Can this be true,was there such a case that changes like they say.Thanks RB

The Elgin movement was able to convert from an open face to a hunter, not the case. Sounds like this movement was set up as a hunter.
