Where can I get information on Trade Marks or Hallmarks? I am getting a few things in the mail and they have some unusual markings on them, can you offer a site for this information?

You might want to get a copy of the "Trademarks" book by Roy Ehrhardt. It has trademarks for watches, clocks and cases illustrated, along with a lot of other useful information. Take a look through Roy's website, Heart of America Press, which lists a vareity of his books.

there is an old book "trademarks of the jewelry and kindered trades" that is a little more extensive, covering many different marks...

but if you can get a detailed pic... post it here... someone may can help.

Terry, Thank you for the Google search, I did one, and got nothing, now I have a ton of stuff to look over.

I have several cases now, but the one I got today is from what looks like a real cheap watch, on the inside and it says Patented Trade Mark with the star and moon and a number 8673.

I have much nicer ones too, so now maybe I can find some of the answers!
