If the case was a factory hamilton case, it would be so marked.
remember though, these watches were available at the time as a movement, and the buyer had their choice of cases from the jeweler, who then cased the watch.
so..... the time frame is important.. what is the serial number?
also, from what i remember from past discussions, the swing-out cases in solid are not toooo common... something about the threads vs the material...
