rain city: Swiss Army watches are just
simple quartz watches in interesting dial and
bezel configurations. You will probably not be able to tell a fake over the internet or probably live for that matter. The titanium case could be a giveaway, but you won't know that until you've bought one. Good luck.

raincity,

Before you buy:

1. Check the seller's feedback. If the percentage of negatives is more than about 1/2%, read the negative and neutral comments. If the percentage of negatives is more than about 1%, be very cautious.

2. If the total number of positive feedback comments is less than 5 or 10, be a little nervous.

3. Ask specifically if the watch is real or not.

4. Ask if the seller has a return privilige - if not, don't buy.

Some jewelry is grossly overpriced at retail, so the 2/3 off isn't necessarily an indication of a problem........

If you're only spending a little, always fasten your seat belt and don't worry about the money......

Bill: Are Wenger and Swiss Army two different companies? I've seen both without the other:
Wenger and Swiss Army, all were quartz. Wenger had some very interesting tank style steel cases.

rainycity1,

Be certain you are not buying Swiss MILITARY watches (as opposed to Swiss Army). Also, if they specify the watches are REAL Swiss Army, ask about the warranty. Secondary market stuff usually doesn't have a warranty from the supplier. You MAY have to send it out of the country for warranty service.
