I am trying to date a small 6s kw/ks cylinder escapement watch. It is swiss and was inside of a german case (could tell this by the hallmarks on the case). On the mov't is a small shield that shows a deer (with antlers) over three mountain peaks. Can anyone tell me if that mark was paticular to a certain swiss company since it appears to be an ebauche mov't.. Any help would be appreciated.. Bruce

Hi,
Lets see if this helps;

If this is what your trademark looks like, then the maker is listed in Pritchard's book as,
E. ROUSSEL-GALLE, Porrentruy. The firm was founded in 1861 and registered a different trademark with "Precise" on a tag, in 1892
