View Full Version : Hamilton Bakelite Cases i n black
Is there any significance to the fact that one of these cases is black instead of the more typical ivory color?
Thanks,

Tref,
Although the majority of these cases were ivory, they have been seen in a number of other colors which are currently sought after by collectors. I believe there are around 13-14 variations known, not including some two colored and "speckled" variations.
If you do a search on this site, I believe there was an earlier thread regarding the manufacturer of these boxes.
Good luck

Tbanks for the info! For the prices that I've seen these go for, to some they are apparently as sought after and valuable as some of the watches that came in them.
