If it looks like this one, it is a 12 size E. Howard Watch Co. watch.

If it looks like this one, it is a 16 size watch of the same description.

These watches were made in Waltham MA by the E. Howard Watch Co. division of the Keystone Watch Case Co. The serial numbers are not catalogued, but the watch would have been made between 1915 and 1920.

These are very respectable watches. YOUr case should also say E Howard watch on the inner bezel. These were "Keystone Howards". The watch case company owned the movement company and they did not produce loose movements.

If you have the original case its probably worth fixing, assuming its not to badly messed over. There are parts around I have most fo them if your repair guy need them. More worthy of repair is solid gold and you plan to wear it but still worth considering if gold filled.

Steve Bogoff is in your area. He is very high end but very knowledgable and he could give you advice on what you have and what to do with it.
