Good Morning, Friends,
Today, I was looking around in the E-mart area of this site, and I found two listings that bothered me, more than a little.
One listing for offering mix and match parts, to make your own "gorilla" watch. The listing specifically mentioned that, because of the way the cases were made, it would be easy to get away with tons, in the way of "switching".
The other item lists the following, "...a real sucker item for fleabay as a RR watch but really probably just 7 Jewels under all those fake red cap jewels. A piece of Americana! $35.00 ppd"
Am I missing something here, Friends? Is this a joke, or are these fellows actually encouraging dishonesty from fellow NAWCC members?? To me, it's one thing to restore a watch to it's original condition, or to do an honest repair. But, what these fellows seem to be offering just plain seems wrong, to me! Am I off-base? I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Please set me straight, if I'm wrong on this one. Take care, and God Bless!
Every Good Wish,
Doc Mark
