I hope you will agree with me that this month?s Interstatetime ?Watch of the Month? is another real killer! We had Warren #18 earlier this year, and now Charles Moseley?s own 19j Nashua. Can it get better????

Yes, it can. If you like early American watches like these, you can come to Fort Wayne, Indiana for the NAWCC Mid-America Regional, October 18 and 19 and see watches like these and more in person?FREE. Yes folks, Jon Hanson, and some friends have agreed to display the most incredible collection of early American watches and watch related ephemera at Mid-America this year. There will also be a lecture by Jon and renowned watch maker and expert Bill Tapp, and a panel discussion featuring several of the leading experts in the field.

This display and all other events will be free and open to any and all registered attendees of Mid-America. Please plan to be there. Hotel rooms at the Fort Wayne Hilton are gong fast. Do not miss this event! A registration form can be downloaded from this month?s Watch of the Month page at:

http://www.interstatetime.com/WatchOTM/WatchOTM-8-02.htm

(More color pix of this watch will be included on this page asap)(Thanks Jon)

John,

Will there be any RR watches on display for good measure?

Phil

Phil,

First of all, many of these early watches were intended for RR use. The manufacturers were starting to know that one of their big markets was going to be RR timekeeping.

Second, YES!!! Fort Wayne is always a good show for RR Watches. There are some incredible collections in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Lots of these folks will be there showing off and selling.

Come show me yours, and I'll show you mine!

John and Jon

Always a pleasure to be able to see and study these rare watches. Maybe one of these days I will see one up close and personal.

Thanks for showing it.

Steve,

I will get you the flight schedules from sunny Colorado Springs to Fort Wayne. You can come and see a lot more than this.

John

Wish I could this year, but military duty calls. How about you making it to the Denver Regional tomorrow or Saturday?

Steve,

I would love to go to the Denver Show. My Brother lives in Fort Collins, and he and his wife are even hosting a small family reunion next week. Unfortunately, I took a vacation week last week and have a business commitment tomorrow.

Priorities all screwed up. :frown:
