Bob,

This has been discussed a few times on this board, and there are several suggestions. I found the following ones pretty quick, but if you spend a little time with the find feature you can probably find several more.

Hi Bob
I have found out that if you clean the back with Rubbing Alcohol Lightly and then wipe your fingers with the alcohol; This will take away the oils deposited on Both your fingers and the case. Thus will alow you more grip. I have also found out that putting pressure on the case and turning makes it worse.Sometimes less pressure on the case works. If you are pushing down and trying to screw off can make it tougher.

As a last resort....try wrapping "duct tape", sticky side out, on both hands. Twist away and hope for the best. It worked for me last week.

Bob,

I recently ran into a situation like yours. Several of us were displaying watches at a hobby show. Another exhibitor brought an 18-size Hamilton in a swing ring case. He asked for an opinion on the watch. Try as I may, I could NOT get the bezel off to allow me to examine the movement. He left. He brought it back an hour later with the bezel OFF! He attributed this miracle to the heat from his hands, and the fact that he just kept "massaging" the bezel gently (without pressing down as, a technique advised earlier), and it finally began to turn.

Best of luck,

Doug S.
