Hi, Would anyone know of a good dial person? Usually, I try to leave in original condition but I think this time it merits a repaint.
Thanks in advance,
Craig

Yes John, this is a repaint request. I know it annoys the crap out of many people altering the watch from its original state. It is a watch I`d like to carry. Call me what you like. We are all different in some way. Sincerely &
Puristically Flawed,
Craig

metal dial?
refinished, not repainted is the term I believe as more than "painting" takes place!

Sorry Jon, I stand corrected. It is a refinish.
Thanks,
Craig

Hi, no problem, we just need the terms straight to discuss these important issues--being on the same page, etc.
REFINISHING MEANS MORE THAN JUST PAINTING A DIAL.
CAUTION--IF A SNAPON dial BE CAREFUL THAT THE DIAL DOES NOT GET SLIGHTLY DISFORMED AS IT might NOT STAY ON THE MOVEMENT OR HINDER THE OPERATION OF THE HANDS. This is fact and a caution.
Medlock in Sarasota generally does perfect work--if that is what you want to do to your watch. (He also specializes in WW dial refinishing)

Thanks Jon for the info.
Any telephone or email address for Medlock in Sarasota? Are they in the phone book?
Thanks
