View Full Version : Tavannes "KAMA" pocket watch

Can anyone tell me anything about this Tavannes watch? It was in a box I got somewhere. The dial has both roman and arabic numbers and says Tavannes Watch Co. It is sterling, key wind (2 stems to put wind), I have the key. The only number I can find on the movement is on an engraved shield emblem and is 12017 - I assume it's a serial number. The number on the case is 3337012 with a 2 printed under it. There are 4 engraved shields, 2 of them say 1896.. The crystal is gone but the face is spotless. It is not running, but doesn't look damaged. There is a bunch of engraving inside the cover, seems to be about the watch. I know you can’t discuss values.. but is it of any value? pretty worthless? Worth repairing?
