the stolen topic has been swept away by someone, possibly by the originator.
Now, we will not learn of the conclusion nor the apologies, or the continued questionable tactics or thought processes by both parties to this transaction. And, what about the hangeroners' opinions and the gallery guys? These voices have now been silenced by the delete button. Where else can one involve one's self with mystery, intrigue, and legalize? This message board serves many purposes for all.........
The Shadow knows.........and will return!

A lot of really good watch people have been quietly disappearing from the radar screen.
I think one of the reasons is this selective
censorship by the politburo that controls these sites. Certain individuals make complete asses of themselves and then quietly throw it all in the trash. I'm beginning to realize that these various NAWCC sites are acually controlled by a few people who are far more interested in their own personal agendas than in the flow of healthy debate and discussion.

Wow that "Shadow" dude is really cool! I remember him... "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, the Shadow knows!"
To fill everyone in just a bit, the watch in question arrived at my place today, and I took more than sixty high-resolution photos. You will see the most important details sometime this weekend. Without question there were alterations to this movement and case, and as Sam said he and I hope to bring both sides to the center in this issue. Sam and I are also hoping this can be an important instructional tool to help all of us, especially those who are newer collectors and traders avoid similar pitfalls in the future. We intend to post a few of the more descriptive photos and hopefully there will be some good come of this, perhaps even a few interesting surprises may be in store!
Dave, you are making some interesting points, and I agree that some of the language of late was a bit out of line. Everyone who posts here must realize that this Message Board is the only view that many people around the world may ever have of the NAWCC and its membership, so we should at all times remember our responsibility to keep it clean, courteous and responsible. The suggestion that more of us register and use our proper names if followed could also cause a lot more people to consider what they say before they say it!
So far as those most recent deletions go, I am absolutely certain the originator of the thread you refer to did not delete it. I fully agree there was some offensive language going down and in my opinion maybe those who want to talk trash should do that privately, or in some other forum. I say it is unfortunate the thread in question is gone, it resonated with a lot of people and in my view raised just the kinds of issues we need to deal with straight ahead and right out on front street. My friends, there is a fine line between censorship and maintaining civility, perhaps a bit of editing along with proper conduct would have been better in this instance.
That being said, some of us are very serious about our direction here, and the fact that Sam and I who at times have disagreed can not only come together but work together for the common good of our membership is a very good sign.
Just think of it, Sam and Dave, along with Lindell and even The Shadow, almost sounds like a blues quartet, and did I ever tell you all how much I like the blues?
You know it sounds so good when we all play the same tune!

Out from the shadows of darkness and dispair "to Front Street" comes a breath of fresh air and hope, to help and educate the unsuspecting and naive.
The "team" arrives to assist at every corner. What "bad street" have you experienced?
I shall return..........The Shadow
