Actually Frank, I do have a suggestion. STOP PAYING $200 FOR WATCH STRAPS!!! Instead, contact Ron Sabo at: Straps4U@aol.com

The snail mail address is:

International Watchman, Inc.
4301 Manhattan Circle
Brunswick, OH 44212

The telephone number is:

1-800-243-3014 (fax: 330-220-7200)

This firm offers a wide variety of quality watch bands and straps, which vary in price from $0.99 each for their cheapest genuine leather straps, to $20 each for genuine ostrich, and $22 each for genuine crocodile straps. Despite the seemingly "too good to be true" prices, in my opinion, the quality of these are comparable with any of the best on the market.

My father-in-law is in his 80's and has a huge vitamin regimen to stay healthy.
As a result, he will completely destroy a leather band in mere months. Not much better luck with metal bands either.

Some people are just hard on watches and bands. One of my friends is about 300lbs and a dynamo. I gave him a Mido Superfort to wear
while I fixed his Elgin. This Mido was perfect and ran very well for me. After one weekend on his body, that watch ran like someone had removed the escape wheel.
It was magnetized like crazy. He hadn't done anything like load magnets or grind steel or
set it down on a TV all night, he just wore it.
