You have a Swiss made watch of about the 1850 - 1870 era. It was not made by Tobias, his name was added to the watch to make it easier to sell in the U.S. market. It should have a glass crystal instead of plastic. If the plastic is old and yellow, it should be replaced before it causes rust.
