I have in for repair a series "J" waterbury pocket watch with duplex escapement. servicing and repair isnt a problem, it's just that the centre wheel stem is broken, and I am having trouble trying to source another one. I could make a new part, but it seems hardly worth the trouble for this watch. does anyone know where I could get this part?
regards, marcus ritson, Tasmania, Australia.

Marcus,

Welcome to the NAWCC Message Board!

I have been watching your post in hopes that someone would pop up that could help with your request. It could still happen. But I have a suggestion.

The way this message board works is that, with each new topic or reply to an older one, your request gets buried deeper and deeper on the MB, soon to be forgotten. If you were to go to the Watch Repair Board on this site and look for the first post on that page, James Sadilek has provided us with a parts sourcing website. If you post your requirements there, chances are it will get more concentrated attention. Might be worth a try!

Marcus,
I have a center wheel staff & pinion for your series J. E-mail me if you still need it.
