The movement is a pin-set Swiss cylinder. This was commonly used in ladies watches during the early twentieth century.
The Squirrel is the Swiss hallmark for solid 14 carat gold and the crown in a circle is the German hallmark. This tells us The watch is Swiss and was exported to Germany.
The MC in an oval is probably the casemakers mark and may be tracable by an expert in Swiss watches.
