I'm not sure if the book that Jon mentioned is still in print, but the same serial number list is reproduced in "Waltham Pocket Watch Identification and Price Guide," Roy Ehrhardt, Heart of America Press, Kansas City, MO, 1976 (A new edition is still in print - see Heart of America Press (http://www.hoapress.com)).

You're right Jon, that'd work also.

But, Mike did ask for a source and those two books are my source for Waltham watches with serial numbers higher than two million.

Although it needs a bit of interpretation, you can get information on watches below 7,555,000 at http://www.nawcc-info.org/WalthamDB/walsernum.htm

Above that number the 1954 list either original or as reproduced by Ehrhardt is the best choice.
