The message board limits the size of an attachment. You need a smaller picture and probably a little better focus if possible.

That sounds very interessting , da27.
Is the serial-number on your pocket watch really
1321 . That is a very early early JJ.
That means it was produces around 1840.
It would be very interessting to see a picture of it.

In an earlier message on this watch I belive you asked about an official Jules Jurgensen repair center.

Go to http://www.rgmwatches.com/repair.html

RGM Watch Co.
801 West Main St.
Mount Joy, Pa 17552 USA
ph. 717 - 653 - 9799 fax. 717 - 653 -9770

I am 98% sure that RGM is an official repair facility for Jules Jergensen. It will not be inexpensive, but they will do a fantastic job.

I am sure RGM does great work, but the watch in question was made by a company that went out of business in the early 1900's and this example may have been made 50 years earlier than that.

Whomever works on it will need to make or adapt any material needed in the watch so access to the current JJ factory is of little help.
